I might have wandered over to the NAIAS this morning and sweet talked somebody into giving me a ticket. I say might of, because I was supposed to be working. Enjoy a few of my favorites:

And man, I’ve never seen such blatant corporate espionage. It was amusing.

They had Forza 6 simulators everywhere so you could ‘drive’ a new GT.

Yes, that’s an 8-piston caliper.

This car is the best-looking modern car, ever, full-stop. I’ve been doodling a single car on and off for the last few years and they managed to read my mind and incorporate almost all of the styling cues I’ve been dabbling with. All that’s missing is a Ferrari F50-like, black-filled gap running around the belt-line. Add that in somehow, and it’s absolute perfection.

True story, I had the big Ford GT gallery from AutoBlog up and was researching when the pre-order period would begin while waiting for the PowerBall.

I didn’t expect the gt to look so good in white.

Also the clutch on the gt350 feels super weird. It’s really hard for the first inch of travel then the force drops to nothing for the rest of it.

I didn’t try it parked. I have, however, putted around in a parking lot in one at work and didn’t feel anything strange about the clutch travel.

Hmm... I just tried the one that was next to the white GT today. The transmission felt awesome, but the clutch felt so weird

I don’t count dealer pre-orders. Those are a bunch of hocus-pocus.
